Baby Hand and Footprints
Capturing tiny hand and footprints forever!
We can help you to make the perfect keepsake for all the family - one that captures the tiny hand or footprints of your little one. We welcome families with babies and toddlers of all ages into our pottery studio. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the best days to book for baby hand or footprints as we have additional staff in place to assist with getting those little wriggly feet and hands into the paint and onto the pottery.
We also run special 'Baby Photoshoot Days' on the first Thursday of the month 10am-1pm. On these days we work with family photographer Kim Blondell Photography to capture those special early days and create unique baby memory experiences including photos, footprints and clay imprints.
When to Visit With Baby?
Although we welcome parents and babies into the studio during our regular opening hours for pottery painting, if you require assistance with baby hand and footprints we recommend that you book in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our specially trained staff (a practicing mid-wife and a baby massage/yoga teacher) will assist you with getting good prints and advise you on what pottery and colours would work well. Plates, mugs, photo frames, coasters and more... are all available.
All you have to do is book in for a session as normal and mention in the notes/comments that you are bringing baby and we will make sure everything is prepared for you an your little one.
A Baby-Friendly Space
At Fired Frog Pottery cafe we pride ourselves on being a baby and family-friendly environment.
With a trained midwife and a baby yoga & massage teacher as full-time staff, we welcome all new mummies and daddies in to the studio to help capture those special early moments.
We appreciate all the complexities of bringing a baby out and about and so we have easy access for buggies to get into the building, have a space for them to be stored and are breastfeeding friendly (bottles welcome too!!)
We have baby food and toddler-friendly healthy snacks available should you need them or run out... not to mention high chairs, toys, wipes and more!
